BREAKING: Troy Templet will not be back as the St. Amant head baseball coach next season. Athletic Director David Oliver confirmed, saying the school is “making a change in the direction of the program.” -per Kyle Riviere on Twitter.
Have also heard that Central has parted ways with their coach but can not find any confirmation. Looks like parents got the best of both coaches even though Central just won 2 State titles. Pretty sad to see.

I agree parents are ruining youth sports. Parents getting arrested yelling at officials cursing at coaches it is sad

I am not sure why Central baseball coach is leaving. Two state titles in 8 years.
The real loser is the basketball coach. He should resign, been a head coach for over 10 years and has never made playoffs or had a winning record. Was at Live Oak, Zachary and currently Central. Zachary and Central have talent in basketball. There are 1400 students at Central.
I know why the Brusly coach is leaving and it is not because he wanted to. All assistants are "resigning" also. Principal liked Dupont, but decision was not up to the principal.

The Brusly situation is worse then the Central BR one, it all comes down to if lil johnny isn't playing then mom and dad will go to the administration to fight for their kid. Forbes is one of the best coaches in the BR area if not the state with what hes down at Central, but if you piss off certain parents who have connections cause their kid isn't playing, they will go above you till they get there way.

Umm Leo Mcclure played baseball with my dad. My dad is 62 and I am 39.
That is a very interesting hire. Mcclures have not been in Central in about 18 years.
