Should Select Schools host the Championship or should they be able to play in Sulphur or a College venue?
To me just doesnt seem right for the kids to have to play on someones home field for a championship! The feel is Omaha for College and Louisiana the feel should be Sulphur or somewhere at least neutral!

Meh, if you are playing for a state championship, who cares where it's at?? Personally I think that there are better venues than Sulphur anywhay.

If u talking about having a single championship then yeah there are better venues. Like Alex Boxx. But good luck getting that one. I like having all the championships in one location because i like to watch several championship games. Having it in Sulphur is way better than having the Championships scattered all over the state like they use to be. |

As a baseball guy, I would love it if the colleges in the state would each host a class/division and rotate each year. For example, LSU hosts 1A this year, D1 next, 2A the next and so on. Kids would love playing at these venues.

I agree playing at a college venue or Sulphur. I do not agree with a No.1 seed being able to host that may have one or two set of bleachers being able to host.

Kids would love playing at these venues. The State Tournaments use to be held at colleges all over the State before they were consolidated and moved to Sulphur. I also don't agree with them being played at high school fields because seating and parking problems but having them spread out across the State was a terrible idea before Sulphur and it's still a terrible idea. Until there's another place with a setup just as good as Sulphur, the Championships should stay there. |
