Any scouting reports from teams across the state in jamboree action?
Sam Houston beat Iowa 3-0 in 6 innings
DeQuincy beat St. Louis Catholic 2-0 in 3 innings
Rosepine beat DeQuincy 2-1in 3 innings
DeQuincy looked great against St. Louis, however the bats didn’t get hot till the 3rd inning.
Rosepine game was a kind of a different story.. we struggled to put the ball in play but still got a few solid base hits, defensively we made a few mistakes that allowed Rosepine to get those two runs on the board but we’ll make a few tweaks and we’ll be rolling!
Rosepine wasn’t bad at all! Very scrappy bunch as always!

Sulphur beat Westlake 6-1 in 6 innings last night. Oh man i hope we can finally take down Sulphur this year. This will be 6th year in a row we play them and they've won them all. The irritating part is 4 of their wins were by just 1 run and we had leads in all of those games. We open up with DeRidder again for 8th or 9th or 10th year. I dont know for sure, lost track lol. |

Tara Jamboree: Softball : Dunham 10 Tara 0.
Port Barre Jamboree: Baseball: Lafayette Christian gets wins over Northwest and Opelousas High.

I’ve watched LCA play a scrimmage a couple of weeks ago, I think it’s the next sport that is on the rise over there. The new coach has done a great job already from what I saw.

Y’all should drum DeRidder, from what I’ve been told they are absolutely awful, Sulphur will be tough. |
