Lafayette High in 5a has to be in the discussion. Their depth in pitching might be top 3 in 5a!

It will be Kinder and Loreauville again in 2a. Loreauville struggling right now but still early in the season. I wouldn't say struggling. Bad 1 run loss to Central-B.R. Other losses to Denham Springs, Live Oak, and North Vermilion (still undefeated). |

In 2a kinder probably the team to beat. Loureville will be there. Rosepine Doyle looking good along with Dequincy. Sterlington in 3 a. 4 a Tioga. 1 a who knows. 5 a Barbe and a few other

District 5-2A will be very interesting!
DeQuincy, Kinder, and Rosepine will be battling it out soon!
Would really be cool if all 3 make the tournament!

St. Amant could be a sleeper in 5A, probably not but they have the potential to be a dangerous team in the playoffs. They’ve played some good baseball so far this season. New head coach and a new culture being brought around the program. You can already see the progress and it’s only the third week of the season
