Now that the date has been pushed back to April 30th.. would the LHSAA consider still having the playoffs and state tournament through the month of June or will we have to wait till next year for a return to baseball?

I would be surprised if they played this season. We live in a copy cat country and I think the LHSAA will follow suit of the NCAA and just cancel the season. I don’t want this to be the case, especially for the seniors. I would be surprised if kids even returned to school this year. I don’t think anything will happen until schools are opened back up in August (if they are opened that soon).

This is extremely a terrible situation for the kids. So sad to see this. The seniors of all schools do not deserve this.

Got to stay positive. Maybe things will start declining in a week or two. Maybe by the 13th we will be out of the woods with this virus . Maybe they can play into the summer.

If u could start playing by first week of May through say mid June that would be great but looking unlikely now the way this virus keeps growing but just maybe it will start declining in a couple weeks all we can do is hope and pray. Everyone stay healthy and safe
