Does your school accept all children who live in your assigned zone EVEN IF they can afford tuition (should you be private)?
BigBob- Yep, mine must.

Yes, all 9 Public High Schools in the LP have to take in all kids from their assigned attendance zone, regardless of over-crowding or any other issues that may arise. The only exception to this is when a student from 1 of our 4 Non-Football Schools wants to play Football. That student is allowed to transfer to the nearest Football playing School in the Parish (Usually Springfield). And yes, Springfield has to accept those students that transfer as well.

Let me see if I understand your question. Your school accepts any student in the "assigned zone" even if they can afford tuition at a private school. Does this make your school private? Your reply--Yep, mine must.
Then bbjm you are a fan of a "select" school by your definition. Welcome to the dark side.

The question is pretty simple. I'm sorry you dont understand. yes, my school accepts everybody in our zone. If they can afford tuition to somewhere else and they CHOOSE us, even better. Btw, if you can pay tuition, no financial aid, at some schools and they still kick you out, you must really be a bad kid lol

Again, nothing to understand. Does your school accept ALL students from its assigned zone? Yes or No. If you are a private school, do you accept ALL students from your assigned zone if they can pay tuition. Yes or no.

Now, can your school deny enrollment from anyone in your assigned zone that is of legal age and residence? If you are a private school, same question.

Not many responses............wonder why? Possibly because you say the same thing over and over and people are getting tired of it.

Does your school accept all children who live in your assigned zone EVEN IF they can afford tuition (should you be private)? BigBob- Yep, mine must. The question should be for you BIGBOB
I can make easy for you by giving you multiple choice.
BIGBOB hates all private schools because?
A) mommy and daddy couldn't afford the tuition
B) went to private school but was such a jackwagon got expelled
C) was denied entry to a private school because they could see what was coming
D) played sports at a public school that never defeated a private school
I'm thinking it was B. Please confirm.

Not many responses............wonder why? Because we already have at least a dozen threads regarding the split. Why create another? Poor bob has nothing to say if it's not split-related. How sad for you.

Does your school accept all children who live in your assigned zone EVEN IF they can afford tuition (should you be private)? BigBob- Yep, mine must. Even simpler question: Does your football team have to play everyone the school accepts? Does your football team SELECT its 11 offensive players or does the coach have to field whoever the school accepts. Unless they have to play everyone in the school, then this latest excuse is completely irrelevant. Although trumpeted.

Yes, that is a Parish rule. We had a kid one time transfer from Maurepas to Springfield to "play football" when he was simply just failing and wanted to try his luck somewhere else. When the school saw he didn't try out for football, they reported it and had him transferred back.

Does your school accept all children who live in your assigned zone EVEN IF they can afford tuition (should you be private)? BigBob- Yep, mine must. You complain about this so much ......... your school must be full of undesirables. I bet they threw a party when you graduated. How many students does you school have that you would kick out?

Guarantee 100% that "big bob" was a fat slug that sucked in football(and his team did too),and his excuse for losing 50-0 is that the private school "recruited ".....that's why they beat us so bad..."It's not fair mommy"!You probably played for Winfield.

Not many responses............wonder why? Because it is a meaningless question. Your point--some schools have select admissions, some don't--is quite evident without all of your tomfoolery and questions.
Simple question for you. Since Haynesville and Ringgold both are non-select admission schools, they should be roughly the same correct?

Does your school accept all children who live in your assigned zone EVEN IF they can afford tuition (should you be private)? BigBob- Yep, mine must. ABSOLUTELY, we even have an "Options" program for the mentally disabled. People move from all across the state to Lafayette to enroll their kids with special issues. AND those kids count in our overall numbers.

I think the better question would be: Does your PRIVATE school accept all children no matter their discipline or academic state? Whether or not they can pay the tuition is unimportant. Private schools must not discriminate based up race. But they can discriminate for discipline or academic capability. After all
