That guy has been wrong in just about everything he has said. He is now being tuned out. We have to learn to deal with it. So sick and tired of the doomsday people.

Dr. Fauci was appointed Director of NIAID in 1984, that's over 35 years in that position. He has been the advisor to 6 presidents, and runs a 6 billion dollar budget, and you make a statement like that? Is this more about Fauci or more about him disagreeing with (who knows absolutely nothing about science) on just about everything?

Either that...or more about the public just "wanting" things to be like they were before, and therefore they will just "deem" it so. Meanwhile : -Both the Phillies and Blue Jay baseball organizations have shut down their training facilities in FLA due to several players/staff members testing positive -Clemson has had 21 football player positive tests (and 28 total athlete/staff I believe) out of 315 tests since optional summer workouts began -Baton Rouge has traced around 100 positive cases to "Tiger land" area bars and restaurants It ultimately will just come down to this: Will the risks of the Covid 19 disease caused by SARS CoV-2 virus just be something we are willing to live with. Edit--- Lets add 30 LSU football players to the above list of issues

I’d like to know how many of these people are even “sick”. I personally know 4 “kids” (all in their early 20s) who tested positive. None of them had a single symptom. The only reason they knew is that one of their roommates tested positive, and they had all spent a weekend together, so they got tested. None of the 4 would have ever known they had the virus. There were also 10 adults with them most of the same weekend, and all of them tested because of it. All 10 were negative.
None of that makes sense according to what is being reported with this virus, so I have no idea what to believe anymore.

No, it does make sense, in the fact that the virus seems to not cause symptoms in a percentage of the population. I have first hand knowledge of this. Regarding negative tests, those seem to be somewhat problematic. In a Harvard study, approximately 40% of "negative" tests were incorrect. Positive tests on the other hand are pretty conclusive that the virus is present (since it detects the DNA) but that does not mean that the symptoms will be present. So it isn't matter of "believing" anyone. It is a matter of recognizing the dangers and risks, and then deciding on a course of action. That is problematic when talking about a country of over 300,000,000 citizens. That is also problematic from a human standpoint when saying "Oh, it is only devastating for this small group group of at risk people) because that essentially means ostracizing that group from the rest of humanity for quite a while. There aren't very many right or wrong answers here, and it is a crappy situation for the world. The only "wrong" would be when people decide that internet memes convey actional information, and some nebulous idea of "rights infringement" has much if any thing to do with the issue. Or the people who don't understand the medical advice on masks.

You have the virus, you are not sick, you are still a danger to others. Why I differ with Fauci, is for the first time in the history of mankind, we have isolated the well along with the sick. State governments sent patients from nursing homes that tested positive back to the homes they came from resulting in cluster spread in the home. This happened in New York Metro, New Jersey and in NOLA until it was exposed. Think about that, they sent some of the sickest people with the greatest risk of dying back to the nursing homes wear others who had the greatest risk of dying were living. This is GROSS malpractice by the medical community. And don't get me going about how WRONG it was to put all those people on ventilators!!!!! Have said that from day 1.
