If you are like me, you compare our ratings each week to what the LHSAA publishes.....if you do, then you will notice some disparities between the two.
If you follow Brother Martin, you might wonder why we have them at #2, but the LHSAA has them all the way down in 12th. Well as the subject may have tipped you off, this is because they have played an out of state opponent. The LHSAA is totaling their PR for all in state games, and dividing them by their total games played, which includes their two out of state games, and thus causing their PR to be almost 4 points lower.
Another reason to trust our ratings....even over the LHSAA's own.
If you are a fan of any of the following teams, their PR will be higher on this site for this very reason.

Obviously I was referring to Baseball above, but it appears Softball has a similar issue. While it doesn't appear they are counting the Out of State games in the division, it does appear they are giving the schools who played outside the state the Win Points and the Record Points (using the record of the Out of State "team" listed on LHSAA site)
So in Softball this is causing the LHSAA PR to be a little higher than what we have on here.

From what i understand, our assistant has emailed the Site administrator on max preps. The issue has already been taken care of. We believe that another Lafayette team from possibly indiana accidentally put schedueld games under our account at the beginning of the season.

Irregardless, it doesn't affect the PR here....and that was my point. Until it is fixed, the LHSAA PR is incorrect.

I agree. Coaches have a pretty good idea who is where. Honestly if we would have any questions and needed to know exactly where we stand, we'd call Louis Cook Jr. The guy is a wiz
