OVER-REACT MUCH??
Advocate Article
I did witness such an event several weeks ago....they actually caught it before the explicit part was played, but it was obvious to most everyone what was fixing to be said. The coach immediately told the press box to not play that again...and I heard him tell an assistant coach to review all walk up songs before next game.
Why not just make a phone call to school(s) that complaint was made against and warn them?
The LHSAA is bound to get more complaints from songs being played in between innings, and then what? Ban all music at all games?

Seems like it would have been easier to ban the schools that had complaints on them. But again LHSAA cannot investigate anything, just take a shotgun on shot everyone at the same time. Again poor leadership on the part of Bonine.

At our school LHSAA would not have to ban it our coach would have done it himself and some more.

At our school LHSAA would not have to ban it our coach would have done it himself and some more. Which is probably the case at 99% of the schools in the state......

They can not regulate it. We will be continuing to play what songs the parents/coaches deem appropriate. Its apart of what makes up home field advantage. If any schools wants to call and complain to the lhsaa I tell them, prove it.

Between each half inning and each inning. Yes, this makes no sense. Instead of dealing with a individual Bonine shoots everyone with a shoot gun. 99% of the head coaches would stop it themselves if they catch it or if it was brought to their attention. Again shows Bonine is not capable of dealing with LHSAA isssues.
