How are all district teams selected? When are they selected? They are selected by the coaches and it will be after the State championship games.

Is there a site where you can view the All District Teams and All State Teams ? Only thing I know to do is wait on your local news paper. There is a site on LHSAA and it tells who is responsible for each area. I look at the paper each day and have found nothing. They may to wait until baseball is finished and print each district together, baseball and softball.

How are all district teams selected? When are they selected? All District teams are one reason why districts need to go away. They are selected by the coaches at the end of the season. The problem with All District is that in EVERY district, the vote is politicized by coaches with an agenda for their kids. Even if the better play is on certain teams, with better stats. Coaches have notoriously met and conspired to stack the deck before the meeting to make sure that their player is selected. I have seen kids pushed down to honorable mention who deserved 1st team honors while kids with much lessor success are given a patch as a 1 or 2. I was surprised to learn that it was not much better than picking a rec league all star team. Not about honoring the best players, more about making sure certain schools (and people) get recognition. There is no way to fix it, because coaches have also notoriously bolstered batting averages to make a kid look better than they truly are so that they might get an offer. Thus there is no way to rely on statistics due to a lack of standards and down right corruption. It's one of the reason the pro talent scouts rely so heavily on rating services instead of high school statistics. "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying". Anonymous. (not really, but we will let it be)
