It would be an upset, but Mangham softball coach Scott Wilcher has a chance to win his first state championship in softball. If he does win it, it would give him a ring for being the head coach of a baseball state champ and a softball state champ. How often does that happen, or has it ever happened?

I would guess very seldom and all do respect to Coach Wilcher, it will continue to be that way. 2A softball is loaded. Calvary and Menard are on a collision course.

I personally do not know anyone who has won a ring in both, but I'd like to see him make that history.
Not only that, Coach Wilcher has also made three trips to the Dome as Mangham's DC. Excellent all around coach and super guy. One of the very best baseball coaches in the state at any level.
