How many coaches I wonder flock to this site daily (or every other day) to check the wire?
I expect quite a few.
What say you?

Depends on their record at the time Losing=check that board!! Winning=we chillin'. True story.
Back in the day, when West Monroe and Evangel controlled 5A football in this state Coach Shows sometimes visited the site that preceded this one. He wanted to check out the Sixpack Hex which I sometimes used against Evangel's opponents. Some people claimed the hex was a safe gamble on my part because Evangel always won anyway. But some of the WM-Evangel games were toss ups so Coach Shows admitted to one sportswriter who was on the site that just for fun he always wanted to see if the hex was on the Rebels when they played Evangel.
One time before a state championship game in New Orleans between the Rebs and Eagles he laughed and called it a big joke. So before the game I came out officially and publicly laid the Sixpack Hex on the Rebels. He made fun of it according to the sports writer who talked to him.
O.K. the game came down to one final play. Rebels scored a touchdown. Clock running down. Two point conversion gives WM the win. Shows calls for a run by his outstanding fullback (Banks?) And what happens? He fumbles the ball and Evangel recovers for the win. Coach Shows never questioned the hex again. If you don't believe it ask anybody who was on that site back then. Coach Shows had nightmares about the Sixpack Hex for years.

Iβm not sure about any coaches on here but my guess is that Fridaynights is a cheerleader at Sabine high school. She gets all giddy when she talks about firecrackers and motorcycles.

Depends on their record at the time Losing=check that board!! Winning=we chillin'. Correct. It's important to check the board to make sure you see if you need to fire a coordinator, or play an obviously better kid, or just quit because you're such an .

True story Years ago on another board before this one (that is becoming the theme, "Long ago in a galaxy far far away"....cut theme music for star wars) a fan I remember was blabbering about a teams gameplan (plays: secret plays and formations). Someone who must have been reading that was a coach because he disappeared QUICK and was not heard from again, or he became a new moniker. It was hilarious.

Throw the ball mane I had a buddy that was just telling me how bad his kids coach was because he only called the same play over and over again (veer offense) and never threw it to their great receivers (where his kid played( I was like have you seen the qb throw π I would run veer with him as well. What's the veer? I told him to do me and favor and never speak about football again.

A old style offense is sure to rile fans up these days. Everyone from the small rural schools in Nowhere, La to the big metro publics better be running some sort of shotgun spread offense because the fans want it...never thinking the reason they donβt run it is because of personnel.

But, still (shaking head) he should observe their offense closer.

When the leaves start turning, the veer starts churning.
