I am very happy to see my Rebs scheduling these type of games and be willing to leave the friendly confines of Rebel Stadium. I believe it will help them later on, got to play these games to improve. That being said, this one will be tough. PA can sling it, they made the finals of the Hoover 7 on 7 this summer. I am afraid this one gets ugly though, I am thinking in the 45 - 17 range. Don't get me wrong, love my Rebs win, lose or draw just keeping it real.
Thoughts, predictions?

The passing attack and running ability of their QB will spell doom. WM has no athletes in front 7 to contain him.
WM bett line up and pound the ball nonstop on offense and burn clock. Ball control etc.
OCS was loaded last season and played a team far inferior in numbers and talent and got waxed by them due to superior conditioning (they actually were more conditioned with less players), scheme and coaching.
Pulaski is like that as well. .
If the running game is wearing them down WM stands a great chance. They get stuffed all night it will be a LONG ride home.

Pulaski’s HC is a Tallulah, La native. He starred as a WR at Arkansas.

Pulaski is playing in Arkansas 7A and in the district with North Little Rock, Cabot and Conway. They list 59 players on their roster and are ranked # 7 in Arkansas overall

Arkansas teams are not used to the physical style play of La football; WM has seen plenty off teams similar to them and plays Ash, and Ruston every year. Let's not act like WM is just overmatched here. Even with an elite QB. I do not see Pulaski Oline holding up. I like WM here 35- 21.

After watching film I agree with Tigerfan. WM should bulldoze these dudes up front. Line up and rotate those backs and grind them to a pulp. Burn clock on long drives.
This will be a high scoring game.
I don't know truly who will win, but it will be close. Kudos to WM for playing it. Represent the state well and get the win.

they play plenty of big schools as well being in the district with the likes of NLR, Cabot and Conway. Maybe it's different in a full game but my Rebs didn't fare well against elite QB's from Calvary and Evangel, they just don't have the cover guys

Their past schedules do not show any of those teams on their past schedules. You can check MaxPreps to second it. Pulaski is in for a rude awakening against those teams. I saw both Conway and Cabot the last two years and there is a definite difference between the two and Pulaski.

From what I see of Pulaski, I agree with everyone here. The tell of the tape will be WMs physicality vs the speed of pulaski. I believe this match up is in the air when pulaskis offense is on field vs WMs defense. Can the WM front 7 disrupt the QB. I believe so. I think Pulaski will score on some big plays, but overall i think WM can control them with their front 7...it will be interesting to see.
Where I disagree with you guys is the phydicality of WMs oline. They show spurts in the run game, but overall the WM OL has been soft. I was just not impressed in their week 1 game. They were stood up at the line of scrimmage alot in the huntington game, and couldnt protect the QB at all. I believe they should be a dominant Oline, but I just dont see them playing with any nastiness whatsoever that WM fans are accustomed to seeing. If they will find their way...and I think this is a good game to do it, they can roll. But if OL plays like they did this past friday, it could be a long night

I see nothing but positive of playing this game with some juice flowing through those players veins getting to experience the road trip against an established program. Win or lose this is what the players and community wanted. Next three games win or lose will only help WM.

I would agree with those of you saying that Arkansas high school football is a step behind Louisiana ball and not as physical. I expect West Monroe to win the game by controlling the line of scrimmage both ways. Pulaski will cause issues with their athletes, but not too much I don't think.

Remember years ago when a team would come to Rebel stadium with high expectations and get smoked and their players would start taking cheap shots at the WM players. Remember how disgusted you were in that type of play. Well, WM became that team tonight.

Remember how disgusted you were in that type of play. Well, WM became that team tonight. Will the Right Tackle Fuqua be out next week against North Desoto due to the punch thrown against Pulaski? He was ejected, but I don't know if it happening in Arkansas carries the same penalty here in louisiana. Heck, I'm not sure you even have to sit anymore.

Go watch the game film. He did not throw a punch. He swatted a guys hand out of his face. All WM has to do appeal and he should be good to go. Those refs were calling it very tight last night. They gave PA a unnecessary roughing penalty for one of their lineman falling on a WM player that he was blocking and the whistle hadn’t blown yet.

I watched a good bit of this game. Towards the end, when they knew they'd lost, WM was getting kind of out of hand. One thing I can say, if you've got a passing game, your chances of beating WM are pretty good. But it's only the second game, so they may make good adjustments.

One thing I'll add, those refs weren't putting up with any mess in this game. It was obvious from the start, and both coaches should have told their players. Maybe they did and the players just didn't listen.
