This is a spin-off thread, but I’d love to see a few teams play again in the future. We see WM and Neville renew their season games. A few I’d like to see.
1. Neville and Curtis- Goes back to JC beating Neville in the semis 3 years in a row?
2. Evangel and West Monroe- obvious reason, now without having to see each other in the state championship game, strategic advantage on scouting is out the window.
2. Sterlington and Ouachita- It was a big deal when the panthers finally trumped The lions and I believe they made it to the dome that year?
3. West Monroe and Neville- check
4. Calvary and Ouachita Christian I relive they played once in the playoffs or I season, should play more
5. Haynesville and Oak Grove Enough said, but both public might see each other in playoffs anyways
6. Byrd and Acadiana- would there be a pass lol!
7. Bastrop and Evangel Athlete per athlete would be nice to see, Carverjumped them early this year, but would that team Randall Mackey lead beat the Evangel teams during that time
And so on.. what is some teams you would like to see play.

The match-up I've been dying to see in recent years is Welsh vs Many. Maybe this is the year, maybe not who knows?

Let's go with threads that prove you're from north of Alexandria for $800, Alex.

For kicks and grins, I'd like to see Karr play West Monroe.
Been a while since Notre Dame and Haynesville got it on as well.

Baton Rouge Metro:
Scotlandville vs. U High
U High vs. Curtis
Scotlandville vs. Covington
U High vs. West Monroe
I just want some clarity, but that will come with the playoffs.

I got to see Bastrop play Evangel twice, once when Mackey was a senior in Shreveport and the following year in Bastrop. Away team won both games. Great ballgames each year.
The Karr/WM game would be worth every bit the price of admission along with Acadiana and Curtis.
I personally can guarantee you that WM will never, ever, ever, ever play another select school either from in state or out of state again under Arledge . He made that very clear last year at a rebel club meeting. He signed on to play at the Battle on the Border without knowing Curtis was the team (his fault of course and took responsibility) to later say he won't do that again.
So, I would love to see WM and Evangel play again along with teams like a university and DeLaSalle and rummel (whom they have beaten before). Not going to happen though.

Totally agree Logic. Would love to see WM put on their big boy pants and play some competition instead of the Wossmans, stc. Since the district is so weak, one would think they would schedule some teams that could fill that new stadium. Evangel would be a great draw.

Ever wondered why WM has never ever ever ever stepped back foot in Texas for a game since they were obliterated in 1999? Take some guesses. I remember that game in 1999 and all the injuries they had. Totally unprepared for the style play. Shows said they would never ever return. They kept their word. Calvary was on the schedule, and was competitive.

Rummel v West Monroe DeLaSalle v Evangel Ferriday v Welsh Lutcher v Many West St. John v Haynesville
It'd be great to see something held in Lafayette or Alexandria similar to Battle on the Border, but all intrastate games. Maybe Cenla could see real football played

Iowa vs Welsh- Two spread offenses that can put up a lot of points and the towns are only 11 miles apart. Game would have a BIG crowd
Notre Dame vs Many- Would've been more juicy in week 1 but you never know.
John Curtis vs Evangel- Legendary programs with very contrasting styles of offense.
Acadiana vs John Curtis- i know somebody already mention this one but i'd like to see this one too. I'd say over by 9:00 though.
Southern Lab vs Karr- I'm here for the halftime show
Kinder vs Parkview Baptist- Yellow Jackets adopted Eagles offense a few years ago and coaching staffs meet in the offseason to bounce ideas, or at least they use to meet.
Ouachita Christian vs Haynesville- Traditional North Louisiana Small School Powers
Sterlington vs De Le Salle- Another North vs South match up.
Barbe vs Neville- Not sure when these teams played last but i'm sure it's been a while. Off the radar match up.

That was hilarious And as much as I would like to see Many and ND play I got a chuckle thinking about that, many is beyond , more like no b@lls

I call that the only week 7 team available, homecoming, 12 power points, and it was reality. The thought of Kinder scheduling PBS is laughable.

Welsh vs Iowa are you kidding kinder almost beat Iowa. Welsh would beat the brakes off of Iowa. Kinder vs Parkview Baptist? I realize you are a kinder fan so in your eyes kinder is something real special. However to the rest of us thinking u could play with PB is hilarious. I'm not saying kinder isn't good but but they barely beat Breaux Bridge.

Iowa's chances against Welsh would very good if u want to stick with that logic.
