I believe the unanimous decision here would have Acadiana and Curtis duke it out. I am for Acadiana and Curtis. First to score wins. It would be a war. Acadiana's offense is absolutely filthy. Just got some film and their 3 backs are all jailbreakers who can take it the distance. You are forced to play 11 in the box just about and account for every player. Because if you miss one assignment it is off to the house. I've seen them have 1 or 2 guys who were game busters, but never 3 with a quarterback who can throw it too. Huge offensive line that is as fundamentally sound as you will find while big and athletic to boot. Then Curtis with their methodical way of wearing down opponents for 4 quarters. Someone get Davidson and Curtis on that phone. But, next year acadiana will be weak, so it would not matter. We need to assign someone from this board with scheduling blockbuster games every season. The fans here know what other fans want to see. JT Curtis would do a Home and Home I’m sure. Did it with Parkview I don’t see a reason he wouldn’t with anyone honestly

Notre Dame vs Sabine Parish U (Many) Notre Dame vs STM, other than a scrimmage or jamboree Notre Dame vs Carencro Notre Dame vs Rummel I realize Notre Dame probably would not win, but I'd love to see them play a LW, KARR, Ehret, St aug, etc.. maybe even neville or west monroe. I'd love to see it.

I believe certain teams avoid other teams during particular years.

Great linebacker play and extremely well coached is what I remember from the defense. I also saw yall play lutcher in the dome when Jarvis landry was there. I wont critique though indy. Tell me, how do you see them matching up against these schools I listed?

Our enrollment is down probably 150 since then. So LW, Karr, WM? If the situation presented itself we would give it all we had but lack the speed, depth, and to keep up.

I believe certain teams avoid other teams during particular years. I wish we had the luxury to "avoid" teams. Putting together a full schedule is one of the most difficult jobs for a power house program. Hell we cant even keep a constant scrimmage opponent ever since St. Amant decided they were tired of getting their butt beat in an exhibition every year.

Evangel - West Monroe Evangel - STM Evangel - Calvary
Surprised no one mentioned ECA/CBA especially since Calvary would have sliced them up a few years straight with Shea Patterson.

This is a spin-off thread, but I’d love to see a few teams play again in the future. We see WM and Neville renew their season games. A few I’d like to see. 1. Neville and Curtis- Goes back to JC beating Neville in the semis 3 years in a row? 2. Evangel and West Monroe- obvious reason, now without having to see each other in the state championship game, strategic advantage on scouting is out the window. 2. Sterlington and Ouachita- It was a big deal when the panthers finally trumped The lions and I believe they made it to the dome that year? 3. West Monroe and Neville- check 4. Calvary and Ouachita Christian I relive they played once in the playoffs or I season, should play more 5. Haynesville and Oak Grove Enough said, but both public might see each other in playoffs anyways 6. Byrd and Acadiana- would there be a pass lol! 7. Bastrop and Evangel Athlete per athlete would be nice to see, Carverjumped them early this year, but would that team Randall Mackey lead beat the Evangel teams during that time And so on.. what is some teams you would like to see play. Calvary played OCS in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010 and a jamboree in 2014 I believe. Calvary is 3-1 vs OCS

Agreed. Texas top 6A vs. Louisiana top 5A, don't see too many Louisiana wins here. Me either. I do think Evangel, Curtis and West Monroe would beat Westlake though (this year). Honestly, I think any of those 3 would also give Lake Travis a serious run for their money (this year). Allen, Judson, Katy, DeSoto would run through anybody in Louisiana this year. No question in my mind about that at all. Allen and Curtis would probably be a good game, but I think Allen's depth would come out on top, just like it did against ECA. Judson would very like take Allen if they played today. I'm hoping for Katy vs Judson in 6A DivI this year, that would be a killer game to watch. Man, you know your Texas High School football, outstanding sir! How surprised were you that Westlake finally beat LT last week?

I have watch them play. They have a great coach ,but lets be honest they have no speed or size. They do have depth and technology over Welsh. That is why when they get into the playoffs and play non southwest Texas like Aledo they get smoked. That is also why the only schedule teams from that area. Now its not 100% science ,but I see many weak spots. Now Refrugio would be a different story. Calallen would get slaughtered by the likes of smaller eastern schools like W.O.S. The O-Line 74 Logan Thomas OL 5' 10 250 SR 73 Moneeb Ullah OL 5' 11 200 SR 69 Nick Tovar OL 5' 11 223 SR 54 Ryan Everett OL 5' 8 274 JR 51 Anthony Pimentel OL 5' 9 191 SR 78 Chris Montevais OL 5' 11 226 SR 75 Matt Cade OL 5' 9 242 SR The D-Line averages 5'10" 241 pounds and the Kicker is the tallest player at 6'2" You make valid points,no doubt. Calallen being smoked by Aledo is a fact, but I'm pretty sure that there isn't a team in SW LA that Aledo wouldn't smoke too. Just think that Calallen's depth would be too much for any public AA school over an entire game, and yep, I do know a little about them as my dad used to coach there. I do value your opinion, I just think that good 5A Texas schools would beat good Louisiana 2A public schools 10 out 10 times just due to the numbers. I would say 8 out 10 and Barbe could beat them

Kinder and Oberlin And Kinder and Elton That way I can stop hearing about how good those rivalries used to be and complaining about how we are saying larger schools and losing games to quality teams.

And y'all whine and cry about playing us so until y'all decide to play up I would suggest to shut up. Geez y'all are lame. But it is my mission to train y'all (yaw) to be big boys.

Why you worried about us playing up? Did we mess up your little pink bracket rivalry with Welsh? What don't Kinder play up? Y'all not tired of beating small town schools without the luxury of stealing players from neighboring towns? Y'all have way more D1 talent than ND and only lost by 1 point and y'all scared? Y'all have all those starters returning next year and we have 2, and yet you are afraid? Geez, man up and play and quit whining like a little girl. You are imbarassing yourself and The rest of the Kinder fans. Everyone I met would be ashamed of you for crying.

ND didn't even win the state championship last year so why would they play up. I dont understand the whole dodging thing because they play in their actual class instead of up.

How surprised were you that Westlake finally beat LT last week? On 1 hand, I was a good bit surprised because my boys team played Westlake down to the last 6 seconds, where the Chaps pulled out a win with a field goal. That's not a slight to Vandegrift, but I just really didn't think our kids had it in 'em. Evidently, they almost do. On the other hand, I knew if they could contain the Cav's passing game, I knew the Chaps would have a shot. And we're talking about Tood Dodge. He wasn't going to just go forever with Lake Travis beating Westlake. Dude can coach. It's really kind of a weird thing because I know you can't judge how team a would play team c based on how they played team b. But, I was underwhelmed with Westlake. That said, after seeing them beat Lake Travis, it's evident how Judson beat the pants off of Lake Travis. Honestly, I feel like this year, both teams are a little bit over rated. They are still contenders, but not like they usually are.

I'm glad that ND is now in our district. To be the man you have to beat the man and year in and year out ND is always a contender. Excellent program that is superbly coached that you know is always going to bring it. Let's embrace our new district member and look forward to many spirited battles to come.
