[ I stand corrected on the exact infraction. It WAS innings pitched, not pitches thrown. But it WAS brought to attention of the umpires during the 2nd game. Not the third. The umpires couldn’t agree on things and a call had to be made to the LHSAA. The game was forfeited on the spot . My offer still stands for that cold beer, but I’m considering making you forfeit it. 🍺 Did I exceed my post count?

Game 1 and 2 were on the same day also, it wasn't the next day, after the game was called Winnfield had to drive back the next morning and play game 3.

I don't think they did at first. Furthermore, the thought that Winnfield got the series stolen from them is asinine... they still could have won game 3. that is a pretty dense take... maybe given whom they and their opponents had, winning in 2 games was the only way they could have won the series
