Who is the best program from this decade? We are in the metric times now, a decade is 10 years not 9.

Who is the best program from this decade? We are in the metric times now, a decade is 10 years not 9. Thanks for the clarification. It was helpful. I was thinking about the best football program starting in 2010. Universtity High, Landry Walker, Notre Dame, Southern Lab, Zachary?

Why not go back to 2009 and Neville would have 4 lol.
I'd say Neville or Karr based off results and talent going to college.

Who is the best program from this decade? I think Haynesville deserves to be in the conversation. 2012: runner up 2013: champs 2014: champs 2015: runner up 2016: runner up Also, champs in 2009 if you go back one more year. Quarter finals in 2011 and 2017.

Since the split, all programs have been great if we base it off making the playoffs......

WM dodge them in a 4 quarter game for years. Team was stout in and out. I guess they are rebuilding. Because it looks like they are due for a championship.

Neville had a chance to play WM every year and wouldn't. They cherry picked year's and it still didn't work out for them. I'm not taking anything away from their accomplishments but WM wasn't one of them. You are misinformed.

WM waited until Neville had down year last year to schedule them. This year will tell all because they are about even kill now.

They haven't beat us since 95 so why would you think we would be running from them? They got tired of losing during the Lane era and started picking their big senior classes to play us.

How would we know that, they didn't play? Bounce up in McCartys office and ask him out of those years you picked how many times did WM say they did not want to play them. I agree it's in the past but I hear the same thing all the time and it gets old. If you said we don't play private schools in Louisiana I could not disagree with you. I understand why we don't but I don't like it.

KARR,WITHOUT A DOUBT. much respect to Haynesville, Evangel, Curtis, but its hard to argue these numbers: Championship game 7 out of the 8 years, with 3 championships.
2010: Dome (runner-ups) 2011: Dome (runner-ups) 2012: Dome (Champions) 2013: Dome (runner-ups) 2014: Quarters 2015: Dome (runner-ups) 2016: Dome (Champions) 2017: Dome (Champions) ____________________________________ 2018: Dome (probably champs again)

Rayne 2010 No Plyoffs 2011 quarter finals (no split) 2012 Regionals 2013 Bi District First Year in 4A 2014 Regionals 2015 No Playoff 2016 Regionals 2017 Semifinals
8 Playoff wins. Only 2 missed playoffs and one first round exit. Pretty Good...

Pretty good, but not anywhere close to best program in state. Rayne does seem to be on the upswing. I hope they do well this season.

Hard to argue with that record, but then again ......... isn't Karr the school that threatened to sue the LHSAA if they were forced to play as a Select school?

Evidently they did not think so ......... or they would not have fought so hard to stay out of the Select side.

That's peculiar ...... schools that could not win before the Play-in-class and Split Play-off rules ........ are now suddenly the best.
