Not true. I saw every WM-Evangel game back in the glory days and Coach Shows developed a couple of really strong armed quarterbacks. I remember at least two of them who could consistently hit the peanut vendor two rows up in the stadium. You can't do that without a strong arm. And you have no Idea what I mean by develop a QB. It’s not about a strong arm... LOL! Maybe developing the peanut vendors into better receivers would help. I have been using that spoof on WM fans for the last 20 years and this is the first time I have seen anyone actually respond as if it was a serious post. Congratulations, you are one sharp dude.

JC hasnt won in a few years. You have to change with the world. Players want to play in the spread and no huddle. Thats what all high school, college, hell even pro teams are doing. Change it up or get left with the times. You might win a state title but develope a WR or QB i doubt it. This is why Texas,Florida, and Georiga produce well. They've change with the football world. Kids need to be college ready. Boot you catch a lot of hell on here, but you are knowledgable, that cant be argued. Louisiana is starting to catch up in spots. I think what Zachary is doing is great. Brown will be a top flight QB and Zachary isnt losing the next couple years come playoff time. They are the new state power. I thought Neville and McCarty would be better but he is overrated as a QB coach. Expected more. How is Boot accurate about changing with the times when there are ZERO pro teams that play true spread as their base offense. All use Fullbacks to an extent. Many multiple TE personnel packages. Under Center snaps. Are these aspects of the spread?? I think not. Secondly, Logic....it amazes me that you’d go as far as saying a coach with the resume of McCarty is overrated at ANYTHING he does. This is coming from an all knowing message board poster that was so sure of his prediction that he was going to “leave the board”. Still funny. I know you know it all about football & you call every play from the stands; they all do.
