Don't be surprised to once again see Neville and Karr (should be in select) to face off in the 4A Dome game. Neville has arguably one of the if not the toughest non-district schedule in the state this coming season. That includes, U-High, St. T. More, Ruston, West Monroe, Ruston, Ouachita and Dist rival Bastrop. They will play WM in the Jam and regular season. Brutal schedule.

Ruston is in complete rebuild mode. Bastrop new staff. St Thomas More and WM are "L's". Looks difficult (optics), but isn't. Neville will be once again top dog in Monroe/WM in 2 years. Lots of young talent out there.

STM will be stacked again next year. They had one defensive starter return this past year, so many Juniors were playing. Same goes for offense as they will return skilled players across the board as well as offensive linemen. Look for STM to be back in the domination hunt again next year. And I hope they have to face U-High again. Payback! Probably will face De La Salle in the finals next year is my prediction. U-High was the team this past year.

I think a lot of teams in 7-5A have a good outlook for next season. Destrehan will be strong in the run game with Kyle Edwards and most of there OL back. Don't really know who will be taking over at QB. Defense will be strong returning most starters. I think ESJ will have a good season as well the team is loaded with studs just need Brown and Coach Doe to get them disciplined. Hahnville will have a strong D don't really know what they have on offense.

Guys, I wouldn't be making fun of Avoyelles because of dirtykev. Kind of reminds me of Kingboo...he caused people to pull against Ferriday. Remember, Avoyelles is made up of a bunch of teenagers who want to win their games just like everyone else. They're not the ones bragging about their team....I hope they do good in 2-A. Most people know they can't play with the top teams in 2-A, but I bet they'll give it their all. Good luck Mustangs.

Eh there are 3 teams moving down to D4 that I couldn’t see them beating I don't know ogfan, VC will be very good this year. I don't see anyone beating them except Lab. I could be wrong though. I’m not going lie, Country Day looked real nice last year, now I dont know what they have coming back though.

All I know is according to someone who knows about them more than I do, their numbers are going to be a bit thin but that between Ibieta and their coaching staff they'll at least make a run. The team that's getting all the hype this season, though, is Calvary Baptist.

Avoyelles is going to beat St. Edmond??? Is that even a question? The only team that will challenge them is Many. Good thing for the Tigers is that the game is up in Many. The Mustangs wont be intimidated by the atmosphere. Theyve been to the Dawg Pound at Lutcher,Northwest, in playoff games and an annual Rivalry game with Bunkie (Before Kevin Cook Forfeited). I could very easily see my Mustangs running the table Attachment Deleted

If that is the district teams named above him, the fact that slaughter charter is listed among the contenders should tell you all you need to know about the district. That is a team that had to score at the end of the game to beat LaSalle at home in the playoffs only to lose the next round 44-0. I think Lab will be more than capable. If you would have watch the game instead of just basing it off of a score you would know slaughter held oak grove to 20 points at the end of the half not saying oak grove is as good as lab but slaughter has potential even if they don’t beat lab they’ll most likely beat everyone else in the district

Hahnville will have a strong D don't really know what they have on offense. That district is getting better every year. Terrebone has a sopre to be this year at right end on defense that will be unbelievable. He and Smith are going to wreck things. Destrehan has depth and talent everywhere on the field. Find a QB and the sky is the limit. Hahnville should be very good this year also. Lots of senior talent and Frilloux will be a stud on the line. They also have a superb freshman bunch coming up too. Expect some to produce this year. 5A is loaded as it has ever been the last few years. With Zachary and Acadiana this year being the cream of the crop. After this season it will be all south Louisiana in 5A for the foreseeable future. With WM graduating 3/4 of their team with the best senior class they have had in recent memory with zero championships to show spells doom for 5A and the end of an era in North Louisiana. We could go another decade before another 5A school ever wins a championship after this season if WM does not pull a miracle. There is no talent worth mentioning here that compares to the programs down south and what they are producing now.

I am going to just lay this out there and see what happens. They are not even thought of in this thread, but I am going to make a pre-season prediction:
3A STATE CHAMPION WILL BE....
ST MARTINVILLE!!!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!

ill take Basile in that W lol( me trying to stir the spot here) Lol. Bunkie would beat Basile. Try again. The Sheriff is about to take 2A. No one in that classification will be able to stop their run game. If youre a 2A power, get ready for the stampede Attachment Deleted

That can't be a good sign. But kid around six foot and 3 bills. He will have to learn a good bit before stepping in they field for them Broncos but he will see some PT likely thus season as a backup. Nice luxury to have for a big school and a big loss for them small charter school.

Best linemen? you can tell you don’t do research We have a whole offensive line that’s touching 6’0 and 6’1 and one of our linemen is bigger then him I guarantee losing him won’t change nothing at slaughter.

Well, the limited film I saw he seemed the best. I should have said, "one of their best". He is definitely one of their best and now he is gone. That is never good at a small school unless they have someone who can pick up his spot. I hope y'all do.

I was corrected by this fellow for my absolute terms of, "Their best lineman" and corrected it to, "one of their best". So I assume they are a growing program that has some hosses up front.

Yes they are a growing program that has hidden talent and the right coaches in place. So they beat Lab this season? Bro, take it easy man. 😁😊... I accidentally offended him and his team and I meant no harm, but recognized my error in wording. From what I saw I doubt they are at that level yet. My main point to him was losing good talent to bigger schools needs to be nipped in the bud now. Lab does not lose players to bigger schools like this. And there is a reason for that.

Yes they are a growing program that has hidden talent and the right coaches in place. So they beat Lab this season? They lose to Lab by 28. They will not be above .500. lose to Lab, Parkvegas, Ascension Catholic. and 2 of 3 that has Central Private, Northeast, and Thrive.
