A lot of teams stacking wins against very weak teams. Got to see some of these 2-0 starts for what they are. Heck Lakeview is 2-0 and played nobody I mean nobody. How would one see a 2-0 start as anything other than the 2-0 team beating the team that lined up in front of them in both of their scheduled games? Did someone from Lakeview kick your dog and/or steal your lunch money? He's just trying to knock teams because Many is 0-2.

He did the same thing during last years baseball season when Winnfield was rolling and Many was struggling early. Overrated I think the term he used while we were playing and beating legit teams like ND and Sterlington and they were getting 20 runned by St Marys.

This is not baseball. We will see you very soon. Indeed we will. I find your optimism a good sign. You were optimistic about the baseball thing and failed to score a run in two games. Maybe it will carry over into football.
For real though, if ya'll don't beat us badly, shame on you. We don't have six other schools and 1200 kids to pull a quarter of our team from.

This is not baseball. We will see you very soon. True, it’s It's not as if Notre Dame would dodge having to play John Curtis. They have.
You say you are "advocating for what's right", but your continued insults and hypocrisy towards all public schools is really counter productive if you want the current format to change. Believe it or not there are a ton of public school fans and school admins that don't really like the "sp_t". But they will take that over being forced to play a team like J.C. You know as well as I do that is insane to think its a level playing field for a school with 200 boys in the parish to build a team from to have to play the Jefferson Parish all stars. Do you think it would be a level playing field for you to meet them in the playoffs every year?
Its obvious that over the last few years some public schools have started pulling kids from different areas and building better baseball/ softball/ football etc... teams. No different than what private schools were doing.
You gripe and complain about ND and other catholic schools getting pushed out because what a few powerhouses like Curtis and Evangel were doing and you have a valid point (that is real-- I agree), but at the same time you lump all public schools into this "" classification and spout off about them pulling kids from all over and the advantages they have, but forget about all those public schools that don't have the luxury of being able to pull kids from all over to build a team.
If you would quit with the constant insults maybe some of those public schools that voted for the s--t because it was ridiculous for them to be in the same classification with Curtis would compromise and come up with something better than the current format because they are now classified with public schools that are have the same advantages as Curtis just to a much smaller extent.

You think I should stop, seriously? You just accused Jess of , you just pointed out that he has an unfair advantage having the rules bent so he can draw from 1200 students. If I hadn’t brought that to light you would have never known. The term “ “ is part of the LHSAA vernacular now. I hear it all over. I’ve heard it used on the radio. My beef is with rules or lack of enforcement of rules. Zones caused all this mess now we don’t have zones. I will keep it up, sorry. And I said this years ago, public schools will turn on each other when they have no more excuses.

And I said this years ago, public schools will turn on each other when they have no more excuses. You do you man. Just saying you've been going on about it constantly for how many years? And nothing has changed. Maybe if you tried a different approach some good would come from it, idk. At the end of the day every school gets one vote. How many votes are needed for a change to happen??? Maybe instead of throwing all of public schools into one category and realizing there was a need for something to be done pre 2013, then maybe some changes could be made now.
Their are a bunch of public schools that don't have 1200 kids to pull from but its a no brainer they would choose to play them over having to play schools pulling from 20,000 or more. The question is-- Are those the only two options? Or could there be a better way? I think so, but with both sides digging their feet in the sand and insulting the other constantly nothing going to change.

We get a kick out of it. If Many pulled from 6 parishes they would be perfect every year. We have ups and downs like any public school. The thing is we have a very well run program This team is pretty good dealing with injuries and some new guys. This team will be 8-2 ,7-3 and as good as anybody in 2A public.

Obviously frustrated with Many's 0-2 start so knocking other teams easy schedules. Me being from Winnfield threw some jabs in and it kind of went from there.
Sorry.

I never accused you of pulling from 6 parishes. As close as people watch for you all to make a mistake you would have been busted. I was just saying you do have a fairly large parish with a fairly large population. Over 1200 kids in the parish which is much larger than a lot of the rural schools in 2a.
Don't even start with the "all of your kids live in Many" bs because I know for a fact you have multiple kids coming from the outlying areas to play. I'm not knocking it or saying you all are doing anything wrong. If those kids want to play they deserve the right to do so and I fully support that.
But you come on here all the time knocking other public schools. Why? Because all of a sudden since the S__t Many is relevant? Acting as if you are this 2a juggernaut? Get over yourself man. The question I have is why it took Many so long to be this powerhouse with as many kids that were available? Why was Many Winnfield's for so long when our numbers have remained the same (roughly a 1/3) of what you have available.

I’m not talking about 1980s winnfield I’m talking this decade and now .The fact y’all are playing Lincoln prep speaks volumes about winnfield football. I have friends in Winn and they all say politics is what has destroyed that program. It’s ashame it used to be my favorite game to watch. I’m hoping the easy schedule gets confidence back so we get to see the old winnfield program again. I miss those games they were some wars.
