We (Kinder) have a shot if we play the game like we can. Last week we had a few miscues on offense and we were very poor at tackling. We had the opportunities and were the n position to make the plays but we couldn't finish alot of plays that we should have. Hopefully this rainy weather will give us an advantage with outlr ground game. I'm just not completely comfortable yet with picking us over St. Louis based solely on last week's games but it is a new week and things can change. Don't turn the ball over and don't miss an abundance of tackles. In conditions this week...the team out of yall and STL that does those things the best will win. Be happy with a 4-5 yards and don't put the ball on the ground. Well I hope it works out just received news that our running back is out till at least playoff time with a broken ankle. Our center is out till district with an ankle injury and according to reports we are starting 5 freshmen on defense and we will have a freshman starting at both wing and fullback

Holy crap this thread is 5 pages long now. Yea now I see why. 5 pages because it’s such an exciting district. In a sense yes the district is competitive but I wouldn't call it exciting.

We're starting 5 freshmen on defense by the HCs choice. For some reason, the best linebacker on the team this year and last year isn't, which really makes zero sense since the freshman starting in his place a linebacker is also the starting dive back. But hey, what do I know, I'm just a mere mortal.

What compromise do you want? The catholic schools sat there and watched the public pass an expanded split. As the loreauville fan likes to point out the rules give them an advantage to take in any kid from Iberia Parish and it's fine. Well the catholic schools have always been able to take in kids form outside of the zone because not every kid can attend the catholic school. So compromise sure let us have the same rules that the public schools have. It's always been the rule for us we were kicked out because it was a problem and now we watch public schools use the same rule and it's no big deal. How is this fair? Hell I don't know but surely all the brilliant minds can come up with something better than we had and we now have. Thing is Loreaville may take in from other areas in Iberia parish (which is an advantage over a lot of other public schools) but they cant take in from outside the parish. ND can.
The way teams were classified pre and post sp_t suck. I see and understand your prospective as an ND fan. I agree with some of your thoughts and I don't like what we have and want it to change. But you refuse to look at things through my perspective as a small rural public school fan.
I’ve heard they have kid from St. Martinville. I know in Acadia parish it’s common for schools to have out of parish kids. Funny how the argument changed from outside of zone to now it’s outside of parish. Public’s have the votes and rules on their side. I’ll attempt to see it from your side but look at it from my side too. And we don’t “take” students. Parents choose to enroll them.

I just spoke to my friends at Catholic of NI they tell me the best linebacker for Loreauville lives in St. Martin Parish. Our areas addresses are weird. For example, I have a St Martinville address but I’m in Iberia parish. When someone tells you a kid lives in St Martinville, it doesn’t always mean St Martin parish.

I clearly grew up in Crowley but had a Rayne address. Bottom line is that it doesn’t matter anymore. The LHSAA doesn’t recognize zones anymore.

The houses 100 yards north of our high school have a Jennings address.
