STM won 6-2 today. LCA got 2 runs on the board in the 1st then couldn't string together anything else, while STM scored their 6 runs in 3 sets of 2. Game was 2-2 until the 4th. Onto a tough game at U High on Tuesday, a should win at Westgate Thursday, then Saturday they face David Thibodaux, who themselves took a 19-1 loss against North Vermillion today. U High was another 6-2 loss. Should bounce back in the next 2, then a good chance after Mamou they're 12-12. |

LCA quick update since it's been a while:
March 30th: 9-2 win over Westgate
April 1st: 9-4 win over David Thibodeaux
April 3rd: 3-0 loss to Teurlings
April 8th (today as of posting this): 13-3 win over Mamou
current record stands at 12-12. Looks like there's a district tournament coming up 4/10-4/15, then they have Chalmette on the schedule on the 17th.

What’s crazy is, without the playing up points, STM wouldn’t even host round 1… if they were in the nonselect I bracket. 6 teams with winning records wouldn’t even make the playoffs, including 22-9 Covington |
