Teurlings knocked off LCA 10-4, and will play North Vermillion tonight in a game that may be going on as I type this for a spot in the district tournament championship series against STM. As a reminder, STM would need 1 win to win the tournament, while the winner of NVHS/TCHS would need to beat STM twice. In non-district play today, Northside beat Midland 14-13. In non-district games on the 17th, we have: STM @ Chalmette North Vermillion vs AES LCA @ Erath Northside vs West St Mary North Vermillion beat Teurlings 11-4 to advance to the torunament championship against STM. See the quoted post for the current circumstances. Yesterday was the championship series. The first game was a 7-6 North Vermillion winning, forcing a second winner take all game that night. The winner of the 4-4A district tournament was STM winning 14-3, bringing them to a 17-13-1 record with a record of 12-2 since March 21st when district play started, beating teams such as Teurlings, John Curtis, Berwick, Loreauville, and North Vermillion (3 times!) in that stretch. They are projected to have 31 power points even going into Monday. |

Patterson hosts Franklin at 5:00 tonight, game streaming on the KWBJ Live YouTube Channel. Must win situation for both teams trying to solidify their playoff chances.

DeQuincy ends the Sammy Dean Yellott Memorial Tournament with a win over Merryville 12-0 That was my sister in laws Uncle. Kim and Sammy were brother and sister. Actually my nephew is named Sammy Dean after him. I never knew the kid but have heard great things about him |

bumping to talk about the fact that Doyle won 2 1-run games over Rosepine to advance to the D3 semifinals 2-0
I mean, what a series! Shame for everyone not named Doyle that there wasn't a game 3.
They will face South Beauregard in the semifinals, and that winner will face the winner of Kinder and Berwick.
