I’m definitely looking forward to the game and cutting up with y’all before. I like ice cold Coors light and I’m bringing my wife with me to help steer yalls women away! I’ll take the Pios by a touchdown. But the good news is we will get to do this again in the fall!

Indest 2 for his last 5 against ND IF CHS WINS Indest will be 3 out of 6 and not to mention when he coached CROWLEY and beat ND 2 years in a row not many coaches have that average against ND could it be a changing of the guard time will tell

Lmao @ changing of the guard. Those Crowley wins were PR nothing more. He got crushed by the old guard in the playoffs the same year. But whatever inflates your hot air balloon I guess.

if you can meet up against ND IN THE SUPER DOME your odds of winning go way up because they don't score much in that house look it up

if you can meet up against ND IN THE SUPER DOME your odds of winning go way up because they don't score much in that house look it up Now that is a coherent thought. Louie definitely plays it tighter to the vest once he gets there. Speed discrepancies are tougher to mask as well. I don't disagree with turning it over to the defense to win it, as that's gonna be the better unit 9/10 times. But it's difficult to come from behind should that arise. Catholic was just better last December. I don't feel bad about saying that. I'm of the philosophy that it's much easier to accept being beaten than it is to accept losing.

I agree because CHS has had to accept being beaten by better teams Calvary twice Riverside once both loaded squads that one state titles , you just have to go back to work and get better

Then ask Crowley, Rayne, ULL or any high school in the area if they would like to have Louie as their coach, and the answer would be yes. There is a lot more to being a good high school coach than wins. I’ll take Louie’s record and the respect he carries win or lose.

I bet if you ask those fans they don't want indy being there spokesperson , Louie is a fist class act that is not the subject ,some fans like some dislike at the end he is your coach and he is the one you support win or lose at what ever school you support or you can transfer like some choose to do but at CHS I support Indest and back him he has coached to of my sons and they are honor students and well respected and they are tougher yong men for that.

I'm pretty sure Kaplan wouldn't trade Tank for Indest. Tank has Kaplan as one of the toughest teams in 3a.

Typically this game comes down to one or two plays. Notre Dame usually has the defense to slow down a very tough offense in Catholic. Notre Dame can do enough on offense and let their defense put the cherry on top. Plus Notre Dame has better special teams. I think the Pios take this in a close one.

I would imagine neither school would trade one coach for the other and would take the other coach if their coach retired tomorrow. They are two of the best in state.

The era has definitely made a lot of coaches and teams appear to be better. Brent definitely is a beneficiary, I can’t remember his accomplishments (other than beating ND) before the split, so why don’t you list them for us to get a better idea of his post season record pre/split.

Isn't his level of success before he got to C-NI about the same level of success Cook had before he got to Notre Dame? I don't see what the issue is here.

But honestly wouldn't a more fair comparison be to compare their success at parallel points in their careers? If that is the case, they are pretty darn close. That is truly the only fair comparison.

Not hardly. Winning at a high level when we had 4 and 5 classes vs playing with 9 watered brackets is totally different. We only 14 teams in D3 and half of them shouldn’t even be in the playoffs.

What Coach Cook did with that Crowley team vs. Wossman in the Dome is unheard of. Wossman in the 80s/early 90s was Neville in the 2000s. They were bigger, faster, and better than Crowley across the board. That game and the home playoff game vs. Curtis might be two of his best coached games. Those were fairly early in his career.
