I heard they were creating a special Division III(a) class just for Norte Dame, so the other schools wouldn't have to play you in the playoffs. Everyone else will continue to compete in Division III

Everyone else will continue to compete in Division III Yea, I don’t blame them. With all that D1 talent we produce I would be scared too! Nothing is more frightening than lining up against a bunch of average looking white boys.

So am I correct saying that 106 of 385 kids play football? That is impressive. I got the 106 number from another thread that you broke ND numbers down by class.

From how many different parishes?? 2-3, maybe 4 some years. OLI is in Jennings (Jeff Davis) OMP is in Church Point, so some come from St Landry. The Mire- Cankton area borders Lafayette Parish and some there send there kids to Rayne Catholic. and vermillion parish is just south of Crowley, one of my farms actually borders Vermilion.

So I Googled and saw enrollment was due by 4:00 PM today. Is it made public or how do you find everyone’s numbers submitted. I figured the board would make reclass a hot topic.

The principals follow that deadline like they follow zones. I wouldn’t get in a rush to see the results. Last time it was in November. 4 years ago it was after the 1st of the year.

Talk about being apart of something bigger than yourself. This is what football should be. Just think if every school had 60% of their kids play football and 60% of the parents were in the Quarterback Club.

Many of the kids will never start but still work their tail off. Louie and his staff to a great job of finding 22 starters but also platoons kids which allows another dozen or so a lot of playing time. And they allow others to be on the special teams. It creates a great team atmosphere. We also have 24 girl trainers.

Part of it is working at games (all sports). Very good program that gives "other kids" not just players, the opportunity to be apart!

I think they will be 4a for the first 2 years and then be a 5a school.

As soon as the numbers are released to the public it will be a white hot topic on here for sure and each District plan they release will carry the topic well into August 2019.
